    Chef Central For Kids!
Pitch Line: Cooking can be fun for kids and parents too, especially with a fun video and game to teach you how!
    Final Idea Proposal:
Proposal: A kids cooking App that would be available on iTunes and Droid Markets. This app would be called Chef Central for Kids. Through this children will be able to learn how to cook foods with or without there parents, and as well as learn more about nutritional information.
    How this App would work:
    1. Kids would watch the videos.
    2. They would then play a game that has a relation to the video that they just watched.
    3. They would then attempt to cook the meal that they just made
    4. Finally, they can post a picture to the app page for the recipe that they just made.
    Rules and Technicalities:
    1. For the recipes that require knife skills, stove top cooking, or over cooking there would be a certain password that parents would have to type in for the child to access the recipe.
    2. The game is something that is used to help facilitate the memory of the child, either for the recipe or in just memory building skills.
    Approach for the Final Project:
    1. For this project I would need to get in touch with or learn more about prominent Mommy Bloggers. I find that Mommy Bloggers have become a huge influence to current day parents, who look for advice in raising their children.
    2. One of the perks of this app is that the children are able to get a sense of the children who are teaching them how to use the apps. These children are common days kids, who are doing this for fun! They would be different groups of kids, so the children viewing that app can relate to certain children.
    3. I will create a script for one of the episodes on how to cook a certain recipe, such as Pasta with Chicken and Broccoli!
    4. Another step than can be taken for this project is creating the set and what that would entail. Would it be a different kitchen or the same one each time? I am just thinking what would be most economical here, and the least amount of money.
Where would the set be taken place? What would be on the set? What kind of Plates, Utensils will be used?
Mommy Bloggers that can be used for Advertising:
    1. http://www.mommyhotspot.com/
The website is seen as one of the largest Mommy Blogs out there! This website teaches recipes, DIY's with your children, games, stories, and everything a mother could look for in a website. A feature of Chef Central would be ideal for this blogspot, especially in either the video section or recipe section.
    2.http://www.mommyoftwolittlemonkeys.com/
This blogspot is ideal for those mothers who want to have fun with their kids, and of course the Chef Central For Kids would an extremely fun opportunity for children to learn.
Where would I become an expert in?
The area's that I am going to need to focus on is the history of Childrens food and where it is going?
Has there ever been a need for Childrens Food TV?
Companies that have started on the trend of Childrens Food in general?
Below is an amazing article highlighting the initiatives being taken for children to eat more healthy:

Above are notes that I was taking through out the course of my Final Project, Below is my Final Completed Creative Proposal:

    Final Project
    Chef Central For Kids!
Concept: The idea behind Chef Central For Kids is a website that is focused on the idea of teaching kids how to cook! We all know how difficult cooking can be for some people and the effect is has on the future endeavors in the kitchen, so why not fix it now by teaching your kids how to cook early. Not only will this website be fun, but the lessons will come through videos, that teach the children how to cook from other children. This website will also bolster a page for a online forum, where kids can post their own pictures, tips, ideas, and questions under each recipe.
    Rationale:
Original Idea: This idea came from the love I personally have for the kitchen, as well as the passion that I have to help others. I have found that through out the years of babysitting my cousins, and neighbors, that kids love to cook! They love to cook, whether it be something small suck as decorating cookies, at the end of the day they still have that piece of accomplishment.
    Logistics:
Set: Through out the deliberation of this task, I kept thinking about what I should do for the set, should it be different each time, or keep it the same and consistent? Finally, the choice was to keep it consistent. I found that children have an easier time focusing on something that is consistent rather than something that is constantly changing. If I have a consistent set, it will allow for the child to focus more on the task of completing the recipe, than trying to figure out what is new in this kitchen.
Actors: One of my favorite pieces of this project is the Actors! The actors are a group of 10 to 20 different kids who come from all different backgrounds through out the world. The reason I decided to do something like this because of the fact that more children will be able to relate to a certain actor if they find that they come from a similar background. Here alone in the US, we are considered a salad bowl of a country, so why not integrate that idea into this website as well.
Audience: For this concept the Audience is between 6 and 12. The reason I chose this as my target audience group is because building a foundation of cooking skills would be essential in this age if they would like to further their skill set more afterwards. If children have somewhat of an idea of how to cook something it will not only help their future, but it will also help their own health. This is a website that I would like all children to enjoy, for the reason that food brings people together.
Rules and Regulations: The rules are simple here at Chef Central For Kids. All comments that are posted will be observed, any thing that is inappropriate for the website will be removed, and puts the child who posted it at risk of being removed from the website. This website also has rules when it comes to certain recipes that involves a stovetop, oven, or anything dangerous of that nature. If a child would like to have access to this type of thing, the parent has a special pass code that they must enter into the website to obtain this recipe.
Marketing/Advertising: One the biggest ways to advertise a website like this is through Mommy Blogs, which have become such a large and upcoming business in past few years. Mommy blogs allow for so many mothers to share their experiences with each other, and to elaborate beyond that. One of the main Mommy blogs that I would love to reach out too, is a cooking based Mommy blog called, Bunsinmyoven.com. This website attracts so many mothers a day, and with advertisement as well as endorsement from this website would be absolutely ideal. Another form of marketing, would be children’s websites, such as webkins, or Club Penguin, these websites bolster so many hits a day that a marketing plan here would be quintessential. A third form of marketing for this website would be Children’s Radio. Children’s radio has made such a large impact on all different types of people that it allows for some one to hear the great experiences behind a website such as Chef Central For Kids.
Wireframe: A wireframe of the website is attached below. I have created a sample of what the website Chef Central For Kids could possibly look like in the future. If given an appropriate budget, I would love to work with local Rhode Island Web designers in creating an effective and visually pleasing website.
Competitive Analysis: The competitive analysis that Chef Central For Kids has over other child boosting websites is the fact that this website is education and fun, all in one. This website allows for a sense of freedom for children, but also for a chance of extreme growth within them selves. Children will be able to learn how to cook, the importance of a well-balanced meal, as well as a sense of accomplishment. This website may see a competition with cooking apps for children that display recipes, but the difference with this website, is that it is available to all children. This is not just an app that can be only viewed on a tablet or ipad, but it is educational videos that can be viewed on any computer. This website, without a doubt has an edge over any children’s cookbooks, and children’s recipe apps.
